Our Principles of Safeguarding (Level 3) course equips staff across all sectors with the knowledge and confidence to protect vulnerable individuals and take appropriate action when concerns arise. This accredited qualification ensures delegates understand their safeguarding responsibilities and can apply best practice in day-to-day work.

This course is suitable for all staff, across all sectors, regardless of their professional background. It is particularly relevant for those working with or supporting children and young people, adults at risk, families and carers, community and healthcare settings.

This accredited Level 3 course helps delegates to:

Delegates will develop practical understanding and skills in:

  • Recognising the signs and indicators of abuse and neglect
  • Legal and policy frameworks underpinning safeguarding practice
  • Responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns
  • Reporting procedures and how to escalate concerns effectively
  • Safeguarding yourself and others in professional practice
  • Knowing how and when to seek additional help and support

 

Pre-Course Requirements:
No prior learning required.

Delivery Type:
This course is delivered as a Direct Delivery model either classroom setting or virtual.

Duration:
1 day with 1 day annual refresher
