Basic Life Support and safe use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Course covers the knowledge and practical skills use an AED and includes basic life support training.

Training includes:

  • Responsibilities and reporting
  • Dealing with unresponsive casualties
  • Resuscitation
  • Defibrillation procedures
  • Assessment of the situation
  • Infection control
  • AED functions
  • Safety measures

A maximum of 12 delegates per course

Delegate work booklets are included

Certificates and course registration cost £5.50 to £10.50 per participation, subject to course type.
